We are working to continue building this division through offering additional resources, programs, and opportunities for members. We encourage you to join now and contact us today about your interest in participating in this grassroots effort to further the cause of SAIGE-FL.
SAIGE-FL represents the diverse needs of the community in reference to sexual and affectional orientation, gender identity, and diversity. We stand united in love and acceptance.

Biweekly Advocacy Chats
As part of their commitment to advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community, SAIGE-FL is hosting Advocacy chats every other Wednesday at 7pm. The purpose of these chats is to bring clinicians together to organize, commit to and execute advocacy projects to combat the anti-LGBTQIA+ recent events, and legislation occuring in our state. Through this group and the support of multiple clinicians that have joined us, we have successfully created a letter template, and began a letter writing campaign educating organizations and politicians across the state of Florida; encouraging them to express support for the LGBTQIA+ community and condemn recent legislation targeting the community. The group's next projects include creating an educated voter guide for the Florida Governor race, a voter registration campaign, and a voter guide to make voting easier and more accessible. The SAIGE-FL advocacy chats will continue to serve as a place to share space with advocacy minded clinicians, learn from each other how to be better advocates, organize together and help turn everyone's advocacy ideas into action that makes a difference. The next meeting dates are: Wednesday August 3rd, Wednesday August 17th, Wednesday August 31, and Wednesday September 14th.
