ATTENTION GRADUATE STUDENTS! 

Are you thinking about attending the upcoming 75^th Annual FCA Convention this fall? Would you like get involved? Would you like to network with other graduate students, professionals, and leaders in the counseling field? Would you like to be a part of an AMAZING in-person Convention? If you answered YES to any or all these questions, then the Graduate Student Volunteer Program (GSVP) may be for you!

The 2024 FCA Convention theme is “Empowering Authentic Lives: Trauma and Lifespan Transformation” and will be held from Thursday, November 14^th, 2024- Saturday, November 16^th, 2024, at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, FL. 

All interested graduate students, please follow these steps:

Step 1:   Check your graduate student member status (you must be an active graduate student in order to qualify to be a volunteer). If you are not currently a member, we hope you will consider joining. Visit our website at: www.flacounseling.org and click on the Membership page. If you have any questions about your membership, etc., please contact the FCA Office at fcaoffice@flacounseling.org.

Step 2:   Complete the Graduate Student Volunteer Application Form HERE. This is your application to be consideredfor the GSVP. (This is not a guarantee for approval – please wait for the acceptance letter BEFORE registering for the convention.) The deadline to complete the Volunteer Application is September 27^th, 2024. Please apply early as there are limited spots for this opportunity.

Step 3:    All applications will be reviewed, and an acceptance letter will be emailed by Friday October 4^th, 2024.

Step 4:   All accepted volunteers must email the Graduate Student Volunteer Coordinator by Wednesday, October 9^th, 2024, with their acceptance and firm commitment to be available for the dates of the Convention.
