Participants in this webinar will gain an understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence and the various types of abuse that can occur. Participants will explore multicultural considerations when working with various populations including secondary victims (often children and other family members). Frequency of occurrence among different populations will be reviewed and participants will be able to identify the signs of abusive relationships. This webinar also identifies the various reactions survivors can have, appropriate screening tools to identify domestic/dating violence, and the most effective treatment options for clinicians to utilize with clients.
