Please join us as we explore how school counselors can advocate professionally in school buildings.  Learn how to work with your administration to meet students' needs in the academic, career, and social and emotional domains. We will cover defining what the job looks like, advocating for appropriate duties, using available resources, and self-care techniques.

Learning Objectives. . . .

  • Attendees will learn how to effectively work with administrators using the ASCA Administrative Agreement.
  • Attendees will learn how to advocate for their roles as professional school counselors in the local school building.
  • Self-care techniques and ideas will be discussed to help support school counselors throughout the school year.

Please note this is the first of four webinars this semester. The fee is free for FCA members who are FASC Division members which is a great benefit for our school counselor members.
