This webinar is apart of the 2023 FCDA Fall Webinar series and discusses the mental health effects among unemployed individuals concerning issues related to SAMHSA’s eight dimensions of wellness.

Learning Objectives

  • Attendees will learn and understand the extent and influence of unemployment related to mental health well-being and occupational wellness, particularly for vulnerable populations.
  • Attendees will learn about the constructs of trauma-informed care (TIC) and how to apply TIC practices to clients who are unemployed.
  • Attendees will engage in open dialogue regarding implications related to mental health accessibility and ethical considerations for clients who are experiencing unemployment.
