ACCEPTED!  WRITING COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND BOOSTING YOUR PRESENTATION SKILLS

Presented by
Dr. W. BRYCE HAGEDORN, NCC, MAC, LMHC, QCS

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2023

12:00 P.M. UNTIL 1:30 P.M. EST

1.5 CEs approved for
Florida Board CSW, M&FT, and MHC and NBCC

As you’ve sat in the audience of a conference presentation, there may have come a moment when you thought, “Hey, I can do that!”  Or perhaps you have researched a topic and believe that others would benefit from your knowledge and experience.  Then there are those who revel in scholarly dialog and the mutual learning that occurs when professionals come together.  Whatever the reasons, the process of taking an idea and forging it into a conference proposal and presentation can be a daunting task.  This presentation will lead participants through the process from conceptualization to implementation.

Participants will explore and examine:

  • Ways in which to transition an interest/concept into one that is “conference-worthy”
  • The various elements of a proposal and learn ways to maximize acceptance rates
  • Presentation and facilitation skills that engage audiences and lower the presenter’s anxieties

REGISTRATION FEES. . . .

  • FCA Member Registrant (includes CEs as requested): FREE
  • Non-Member Registrant:  $10
  • Non-Member Registrant:  $15
