This FREE webinar will help therapists and counselors gain more insight on how Telehealth works with children. This webinar has been approved for 1.0 hours of continuing education by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counseling and National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).

CORRIE J. GROSS, LMHC

Corrie J. Gross is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida who specializes in the treatment of trauma. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescent, and adult victims of sexual abuse, psychological abuse, domestic violence and life transitions such as divorce and adoption. Her holistic approach includes a fusion of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Mindfulness in individual, family, and group therapy sessions. 

Ms. Gross is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychology at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL where she teaches courses in General Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Child Psychology, and Abnormal Psychology. For nearly 20 years, she has served as a mentor for undergraduate psychology students giving them the unique opportunity of learning how psychological theories and therapy methods are used in clinical settings. 

Ms. Gross graduated Magna Cume Laude with a BA in Psychology from Saint Leo University. She earned her MA in Psychology from Capella University, also graduating Manga Cume Laude. She completed her Adoptions Counselor Certification through Rutger’s University and Level II EMDR specialized training via the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). Additionally, Ms. Gross is a member of the Florida Counseling Association (FCA), the American Counseling Association (ACA), and the American Psychological Association (APA). 

Continuing Education (CE) Approval of 1.0 CE hours

The Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family and Mental Health Counseling has approved this course under continuing education provider BAP#50‐15249 and National Board of Certified Counselors Provider #2010 materials prepared for FCA, 2750 Taylor Avenue, A36, Orlando, FL 32806.
