About the Presenter. . . . With over 20 years of experience in leadership and employee development, Rachel Stromberg specializes in instructional design and facilitation for talent management and employee engagement. Rachel is a three-time recipient of the UNF Excellence in Employee Development Award for facilitation and instructional design and served on the Board of Directors for the North East Florida Chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) for 12 years; including the role of Chapter President.
Rachel’s biggest passion is improvisational theater. She began performing improv in 2004 and instructing in 2006. She is the VP of Training and Development and a founding member of Mad Cowford Improv Comedy; an organization specializing in improvisational performances, corporate entertainment, and corporate training leveraging improvisational techniques for professional learning and development.
Contributions to book publications include The Book of Road-Tested Activities (for Training), and 101 Ways to Make Training Interactive, both by Wiley Publishing. Contributions to training industry publications include The Bob Pike Group for Creative Training Techniques and the Association for Talent Development. Rachel was featured as a TEDx Talk speaker for Florida State College of Jacksonville delivering “What Improv Has Taught Me About Leadership…and Life and Ironing, and the Fine Art of Appliqué.”
