In 2013, the Crime Commission implemented the  Building Bridges Mental Health Conference Series to narrow the gap, and determine the correlation between Behavioral Health issues and Crime, so that such crimes can be prevented and preempted.

Hence, once per quarter, the Crime Commission discusses a different crime, in hopes that preventive and preemptive measures can be attained. Attendees and participants on the panels include: Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Sociologists, Journalists, and Front Line Law Enforcement Administrators and First Responders.  Approximately 250 to 300 patrons attend these quarterly conferences.

The upcoming Conference is the the 15th event in five years.  Our most recent Conference was Kids That Kill in November 2018.  SEE ATTACHMENT 1.
