What is FCA’s Leadership Development Conference?
LDC is a weekend conference designed to empower and foster leadership skills among leaders within FCA, its divisions and associations. The conference begins on Friday evening around 5 pm and continues with presenters, short sessions and activities until Saturday at 5. Information shared at LDC will benefit any counseling professional.
All counseling fields are welcome!
However, all up-coming executive board members of divisions and associations are strongly encouraged to attend. Networking, advocacy, membership, professional development and legislation are always topics on our agenda. If you are looking for a quick summer conference to motivate, rejuvenate and empower you to reach beyond what you have already accomplished.

The 2010 FCA Convention - Counselors: Stand Up and Be Counted! will be held in Miami, Florida on 10.10.2010. The difficult economy has impacted our clients, our students, and our school and community counseling settings. Join your fellow counselors in sharing the valuable work we do to help our communities and state; and advocate for the recognition and support we deserve. This years convention will focus on how counselors can demonstrate our value in whatever setting or specialty we work. Presenters will share information on how counselors can provide excellent services to clients and students, while making the public aware of our contributions.
